• i am a Marine Guide, Rocky shores and Sandy shores.

• i am a 4x4 Guide, overlanding and trails.

• i am a Photographic Guide, Flowers, Ghost towns, Sossusvlei and Namibia.

• i am a Advanced 4x4 guide

 

i wil take you on a tour, show you the hidden gems, the secret plants, the perfect angle for the perfect photo and tell you the story behind the story.

i have been a tourist guide for the past 16 years, qualified as a cultural guide, field guide, marine guide and 4x4 guide. My guiding started in the Richtersveld National Park, I then further my studies and enlarged the area of work to Namaqualand, West Coast, Kgalagadi, Namibia and beyond. Kaokoland, Damaraland is just some of my fields of expertise.

i am a freelance journalist for WegRy/DriveOut magazine.

• i did a monthly article on gear.

• i tested all different gear from camping fridges to tyre deflaters.

• i have a section on this website with equipment for your expedition.

• i took most of the photographs myself.

 

 

i am a Specialised Tour Operator.

• i can put together a tour to your dream destination.

• i can plan and design your expedition.

• i will work out a specified itinerary for your trip.

• i can make all your bookings.

i have stayed everywhere, from free camping in the Kalahari to some of the most executive lodges in Botswana and Namibia. i can negotiate good deals and have a list of my favorite places.

i have done more that 150 self drive tours.

• i have seen many different drawer systems setups in a vehicle.

• i can consult with you to discover your real personal needs.

• i can give advice on what setup and equipment you need for your vehicle.

• i will be your project manager to get your vehicle kitted out properly and professionally.  ​

 

 

i know everybody has different needs and preferences, i have seen it all. We can sit together and design the ultimate loading system suitable for your needs.

i have traveled extensively in Namibia, including Damaraland and Kaokoland.

i presented Photographic tours in conjunction with world renowned photographer, Freeman Paterson, from Canada, to Richtersveld and Namibia mainly. Knowing all the best spots and angles, Sossusvlei, Ghost towns and wild horses.

​

i planned and presented the WegRy/DriveOut Bullrun for two consecutive years, 2013, 2014

 

i now offer to share all my knowledge, having been in the 4x4 community for 3 decades.
